This weekend has been full of cake making! I had one due on Friday and one on Saturday. This one was for a sweet girl turning 11.

Wow! I can’t believe it’s been so long since I’ve blogged! It’s been a busy month, but I’ll post about that later. I’ve been busy making cakes too! First off, Kevin’s birthday cake. Since he is so into his Holy Hip Hop, I decided to make turntables. He really liked it!
My 4th of July cake is my favorite so far. I thought the whole cake up in my head and just made it…no pictures to look at or guidelines to follow.
This last cake was made for an airman at Kevin’s work. He made Senior Airman Below the Zone, so I made Senior Airman Stripes.
So, that’s it so far. I’ve got 4 more cakes already planned. I’m hoping I’ll remember to keep up with my blog to keep everyone in the loop. Happy Friday! 🙂
I’ve been really slacking on posting, but it’s not because I’ve not been busy! I’ve recently made two more cakes for my friend, Marissa. The first I made was for her little girl, Emma. She was turning four years old and she wanted an Ariel cake, so that’s what she got! 🙂 She LOVED it!

The second cake I made was for Marissa’s baby shower. I had SOOOO much fun making this one! I made marshmallow fondant for it that was DELISH!
I’ve had a few people ask me if I had my own business when they saw my cakes. I was quite honored! AND, I’ve been toying with the idea of starting one! It won’t be anything huge, but it would be nice to have a little spending money on the side. Stay tuned to see what happens. 😉
I’ve found another love! (not like I NEED something else to do!) For Mother’s Day, I got a cake decorating kit. I’ve always made the kid’s birthday cakes, but it was nothing extravagant. But I’ve found the love to make BIG cakes that look awesome! 😀 I helped throw a baby shower a couple days ago and these are the cakes I made for it.

I have another something special in the works, but you’ll have to wait to see it! 🙂
